Brooklyn Comedy Festival 2016 Performer Submissions

The Brooklyn Comedy Festival will be accepting performer submissions for 2016 starting Monday, March 14th. Early bird submissions will be $20 March 14-27. That price will increase to $25 until submissions close on April 10th.

To submit, you will need to provide a link to an unedited performance video up to five minutes long.

The performance dates for the 2016 Brooklyn Comedy Festival are August 22-27.

Please note that we will not be accepting submissions for improv and sketch this year. The festival is still committed to featuring the best improv and sketch around, however those mediums aren’t conducive to video submissions. We are working in conjunction with theaters and people within the comedy community to seek out the best rising talent in these categories. (And we go to A LOT of shows!)

Finally, we want to thank everyone who submitted to perform at the 2015 Brooklyn Comedy Festival. All accepted performers have been notified. If you did not get accepted this year, it isn’t because we don’t think you’re funny! As we continue to grow each year and add more venues, we will be able to accept more people from the submission process. Thanks again, and congratulations to everyone who was accepted!
